FAQs

  • Almost everything! We screen print, heat press, sublimate, print paper products, promotional items (i.e. pens, water bottles, etc.), stickers, banners, yard signs and we also do embroidery! Need something special? Chances are we can do that, too. We very rarely say “no”. At Carroll Printing Company, our motto is “we print #allthethings.”

  • We have an incredible in-house graphic design team. They can work with virtually anything; however, some file types take more effort (more billed graphic design hours to you) than others to work with. Here is a list of file types from their most favorite to their least favorite:

    1. .ai (Adobe Illustrator)

    2. .pdf (of high quality)

    3. .png or .jpg/.jpeg (minimum 300dpi preferable)

  • Here are our standard turnaround times; however, during peak printing times, these times may vary. Please ask a Carroll Printing Company team member for the most accurate turnaround time for your order.

Orders that can take longer to produce than usual are often: large orders, orders with multiple design changes, designs waiting on customer approval, orders waiting on sizing or details from customer.

*Rush orders are available, if you need your order sooner!

    Standard Turnaround Times:

Paper products, banners, signs and stickers: 5-7 days

Screen Printing, Vinyl and Sublimation: 7 days from when we receive your shirt sizes

    Embroidery: 2-3 weeks

  • Yes! Our in-house graphic design team would love to help. Simply email us with as much detail as possible of your vision for your creation, any inspiration photos, colors you like, or files you may already have that we can start from.

We offer logo design, custom branding packages, t-shirt design, business card design or (almost) anything you can dream up.

  • Great question! If you have placed an order, our team members will confirm quantity, pricing, and details with you.

Next, you will receive a design proof for your approval within a few days. It’s important that you respond to the design proof with “approved” or any edits may want promptly. Doing so keeps your order on schedule for your requested pick-up date. **If you have sent us print-ready files, or this is an exact re-order, you will not receive a design proof.

Now, you sit back and relax while Carroll Printing Company takes care of your order and notifies you via email when your order is complete and ready for pick-up! Your final invoice will be included in this email and can be paid by clicking the included link.

How Screen Printed T-Shirts are Priced

The first factor that affects pricing is how many ink colors you would like on your t-shirts - the more ink colors, the higher the price. Screen printing gets its name because of the mesh screens that are used to produce the products. Ink is pushed through one or many mesh screens, each held by a frame, depending on how many ink colors are used in the design. For each ink color you choose to have on your t-shirts, another screen has to be produced (sometimes two screens for one ink color, but we will keep this conversation simple).
